eau de eau
Max Papeschi
Parco Center, Milano – 2025
Hologram: Planète Terre
As part of the Eau de Eau project, artist Max Papeschi unveils Planète Terre, a holographic artwork addressing the global water crisis. A golden Earth slowly rotates, embodying a luxurious aesthetic that sharply contrasts with the harsh reality of dehydration and scarcity. The precious metal, stripped of its redemptive allure, becomes a metaphor for lost water, turned into a rare and coveted commodity. Through its cyclical motion, the piece evokes a system trapped in an unsustainable loop, where apparent beauty conceals looming aridity. Both contemplative and critical, Planète Terre urges a timely reflection on the fragile future of our planet.
